are experts in advertising propaganda and
techniques, you are ready to create your own
original ad. Create in your mind a new product. It
can be a new breakfast cereal, a toy, a beauty
product, clothing, etc. Based on what you have
learned about propaganda and target audiences,
create an advertisement for your product using
Microsoft PowerPoint. Good advertisements attract
attention, arouse interest, create desire for the
product, and cause action. Make sure you consider
these things, as well as the target audience and
the types of propaganda that your ad will contain,
as you design your ad. Remember that color,
movement, size of type, and action items (such as
coupons) can influence the impact of your
ad. Print out the
planning
guide to help you as
you design your advertisement. Remember, you are a
team. Work together. Two minds are better than one.
Your PowerPoint presentation
should end with a slide that contains a profile of
your product. It should identify the target
audience and what advertising techniques you used.
This will show the company president that you "know
your stuff."
